Oh, wasn't the spring, whooo...

lent is over {more on this later}. easter has come and gone once more, and we are left with the grand mystery of redemption. spring has also come. ah, spring. i love you spring. love. love. love. you. btw, i heart phoenixes {phoenix's, phoenixs, phoeni}. in the fall i'm giddy thinking about the phoenix-like nature of the changing season - a burst of color & fury & passion & fire then dust. however, in the stories the phoenix rises from the ashes rather quickly - like immediately, almost before the proverbial dust has time to settle. it rages forth full of healing tears and mythological strength - spring. new england will have none of this part of the metaphor - here, new life takes eons. for instance, there have been buds are the branches for weeks, but no bloom. this week the bloom has barely begun. thank. god. the temperature hovers around 50 most days - i wear capris & flippy-floppies.

spring has brought other things - people ... from the west. bff holly & ryan came 2 weeks ago, bff JR & cameron & baby addy came last week, and mother-in-law sheryl comes this sunday. feeling the love. spring has also brought back my favorite thing about boston - the RED SOX! and what better than to combine best things. so, we ventured to fenway with em for the first time with our besties from the westies the joneses. good times never felt so good, so good, so good.

Hey!~

Can never remember my password, so anonymous I am. I rather like the mystery!

Loving Spring here too, and LOVE seeing the babies all Soxed up. My girls have little pink Red Sox bibs, and Liam has a collection of shirts. Not quite as popular here in Yankee territory!
